Veterans Wall of Honor in Bella Vista Arkansas

The Veterans Wall of Honor in Bella Vista, Arkansas is a memorial dedicated to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. It is located in the center of the city and was built in 1999 to commemorate the sacrifices and service of veterans from all branches of the military.

The wall features over 4,800 individual plaques that recognize veterans, living or deceased, who have served in any branch of the United States military during any period of time. Each plaque includes the veteran’s name, branch of service, rank, and dates of service. The plaques are arranged alphabetically and are organized by conflicts or peacetime service periods.

The Veterans Wall of Honor was established by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association and is maintained by the Wall of Honor Committee, a group of volunteers who work to ensure that the wall is kept in pristine condition and that new plaques are added regularly to honor new veterans.

The wall also includes a small reflecting pool and a granite statue of an eagle in flight, which serves as a symbol of freedom and the sacrifices made by veterans in defense of their country.

The Veterans Wall of Honor in Bella Vista is a fitting tribute to those who have served their country with honor and distinction, and serves as a reminder to future generations of the sacrifices made by those who have served in the military.
