About Kings River Falls
Protected as an Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission natural area since 1979, the 1,059-acre preserve surrounds a scenic stretch of the Kings River — one of the state’s few remaining free-flowing rivers. The falls themselves are only about 10 feet tall but span the width of the river, forming a beautiful curtain of water with a deep pool below that’s ideal for a warm-weather dip.
