About Twin Springs Park
This is the town’s namesake. After the springs were discovered around 1880, their supposedly curative mineral waters turned the settlement on Sager Creek into a bustling health resort, and Siloam Springs was incorporated in 1881. Some of the rockwork around the springs dates to about 1880, while the circular flower garden and fountain go back to roughly 1913 — the original fountain was rebuilt by the National Youth Administration in 1936. In 2003 a local garden club restored the historic garden, and a Grand Army of the Republic memorial stands in the park’s south end.
