Sager Creek & the Springs
Sager Creek is the heart of downtown. Stone retaining walls, walking bridges, and creekside greens make it a lovely place to stroll, and Twin Springs Park — home to the springs the town was named for — offers a quiet, shaded spot right in the middle of it all. The creek and parks host community events through the year and are especially pretty when the dogwoods bloom.
Shopping, Art & the Creative Scene
Downtown’s restored buildings house an ever-changing lineup of boutiques, antique shops, art galleries, and makers — a reflection of the town’s creative streak (helped along by the arts community at John Brown University). It’s a great district for an afternoon of browsing, gallery-hopping, and coffee.
Memorial Park & Chautauqua Amphitheater
